We came to North Star out of an abundance of recommendations on a local parenting community group on Facebook. I pretty much knew my 2yo would not enjoy the experience (he's a strong willed kid), but I wanted to go somewhere with him where they'd be well prepared. First off, the front desk staff was super friendly as soon as we walked in. My son bee-lined it for their play area while I was filling out patient intake paperwork. The office was bright, clean, and super kid friendly. We didn't have to wait long to be taken back by hygienist Rebeca. She was so sweet with my son who was making strange big time. She tried showing him some of her "tools", to which he had no interest in... but my point being, Rebeca was patient and understanding. Dr. Sara is super friendly, and understood my son being scared. In terms of her time with him it was quick but efficient. I had to hold his arms down whie she checked out his teeth, and she was both through and quick! So grateful to the community for the recommendation. While I fully expect my son to make strange again (that's just the kind of kid he is ‍), it's reassuring to know we have a dentist and office who knows what to expect!
