When we moved to the Everett area we were having a difficult time finding a pediatric dentist that we love. For a little bit we had the kids going to our family dentist. They were great, but I really love the kid friendly experiences you get from a pediatric dental office. It is also really comforting to know that they have more experience with children and child related issues. After looking through many reviews, I finally came across North Star and was won over by all the amazing reviews. My youngest daughter had her first appointment with them recently. She is seven years old and never really had any issues with prior dental appointments. The building was easy to find and they have a parking lot so parking was also a breeze. The waiting area is very kid friendly! It is very inviting and clean. There is a smaller waiting area for children just beside the main waiting area. Plenty of toys, books and TVs to keep them occupied until their appointment. The staff was very friendly. Everyone from the receptionist to the dentist herself were very nice, explained everything fully and made sure that we were comfortable during our time there. When we were called back the whiteboard in the room welcomed my daughter by name. It was a nice little addition to an already amazing experience. Everyone who worked on her teeth took the time to really explain what they were doing and made sure she was comfortable before going forward. The dentist took the time to really explain what she was seeing and answered all my questions in full. During the cleaning they had a movie up for her on the ceiling to keep her distracted. When we left she got to take home a little prize and a balloon. She never really had an opinion on dental appointments before. She never really hated or loved them, but as we were leaving she actually said "that was really fun". I absolutely loved them and have now switched all my kids over to North Star.
